About Casa Educa, myself, and my Why
Hi, I’m Patricia. I’m an Early Childhood Teacher and a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. I have worked in the Early Childhood Education for over 16 years. I started Casa Educa to guide and support parents and carers to understand their child’s development, the importance of play, and how to nurture positive and respectful relationships with their child.
As a mum of two small children, I know what it’s like. Believe me! Sometimes it can be really overwhelming trying to understand if you’re ‘doing the right thing’, or supporting your children’s needs in the best possible way. Yes, the first five years are crucial for a child’s well-being and development but Casa Educa can help make these years fun, educational, and accessible for both your child and you. It doesn’t have to be complicated!
I have a BA in Early Childhood Teaching, and more recently I worked as an Early Childhood Trainer, educating and teaching hundreds of students to more deeply understand children’s development, and how to create, support, and provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for them.
What is My WHY?
My passion is to support and guide parents through the adventure of raising young children aged 0 to 6 years old with mindfulness and positivity.
Parenting is undoubtedly one of life's greatest challenges, but amidst the chaos, I firmly believe that incorporating small, intentional actions can transform the experience into a more relaxed and enjoyable journey for both you and your child. Central to my philosophy is the profound impact of nurturing connections with our children, fostering a safe and secure attachment that lays the foundation for their well-being and development.
But let's not forget about you, the parent. It's essential to prioritise your own needs alongside those of your child – after all, you can't pour from an empty cup. I'm passionate about empowering parents to find balance and fulfillment in their roles, recognizing that by tending to their own well-being, they become better equipped to nurture fulfilling relationships with their children.
We all face unique challenges on our parenting paths, but I believe in the power of reflection and growth. By embracing our imperfections and learning from our experiences, we can continually evolve as parents, fostering deeper connections and fostering a supportive environment for our children to thrive.
Think of me, Patricia, aka Casa Educa, as your go-to resource for insights into child development, strategies for cultivating positive relationships, and a sprinkle of practical parenting advice.
If you ever need guidance, have questions, or simply want to connect, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to support you on your parenting journey every step of the way.
